Most South African print studios take orders over WhatsApp, price by feel and track filament on a spreadsheet. Customers do not know who to ask, and suppliers sell into the gap. 3D PrintZA puts all three in one place, so a file can go from someone’s laptop to a finished part without a single back and forth.

Priced in the browser. There is no upload queue and no slicer to wait for. The quote reads the model’s volume, size and surface area, and it says plainly how close the estimate is.

A quote is built the way a print is: one layer at a time. Each layer is its own rule, and each studio can change any of them.

Sensible South African defaults are switched on from day one, so a new studio can send real quotes on its first afternoon. The maths is tested, so the same file always gets the same price.

Spools that look like spools.

Stock shows filament the way it sits on the shelf, so the right reel is easy to spot. Start typing a brand and the Open Filament Database fills in the rest. Add a box of spools in one go, and a weight guesser works out what is left on a half-used reel.
